Perhaps this was the case in the old days, but it was before the compact soundbar and subwoofer sets appeared. They take up minimal space, can be easily connected and mounted, and also make the sound of the TV much more impressive. SVEN has long been developing a line of such products, recently the developers presented the SVEN SB-2200D model, which is one of the most advanced devices in its arsenal.

The 2" (52 mm) soundbars provide high-quality transmission in the mid-range and high-frequency ranges, while bass support is provided by an active subwoofer in an MDF enclosure that houses an 8" (190 mm) diameter speaker. The subwoofer capacity is 24,5 liters, which is greater than the vast majority of competitors in the same or even higher price segment. The total power of the system reaches an impressive 300 W – the SVEN SB-2200D will feel confident even in a large living room.

Connecting and preparing the set for work is as simple and simple as possible, and the number of cables minimized - even the subwoofer is connected to the radio player in automatic mode and without wires, which allows for a more reliable installation to better fit into the interior. The soundbar itself can be placed on a shelf or mounted on the wall with specially provided handles. All information about the operation of the device is displayed on a comfortable, bright screen that will not interfere with browsing - it goes out automatically when playing content.

Connecting sources is also great – the number of options available is surprisingly large: from optical and coaxial digital inputs and HDMI with ARC support to analogue AUX with a 3,5 mm jack. There is even a Bluetooth module for quick connection to mobile gadgets. In addition, the innovative product supports Dolby Digital format, which significantly expands the possibilities of playing high-quality video content – after receiving such a signal, the appropriate message is displayed on the screen. SVEN SB-2200D also has a built-in player - you can record your favorite songs on a pendrive and always have them at hand. All major formats are supported - from MP3, WAV and WMA to popular lossless files with FLAC extension.

Control of the set is done using an excellent, original remote control, but not only – thanks to HDMI CEC technology, the SB-2200D soundbar can be turned on and changed its volume directly from the TV remote control, and this is much more convenient. All settings, taking into account the last active input, volume and preset equalizer, are saved when SVEN SB-2200D is disconnected and are automatically activated when SVEN SB-2200D is initialized.

You can slightly improve the sound with the built-in equalizer. Three presets are available to suit different listening environments. The first is designed for watching movies and provides the most spectacular sound possible, while the second has a slightly smoother sound for listening to music. And when you turn on the third, the midrange will be emphasized, and the bass will be lowered into the background – useful when watching the news and at night when you do not want to disturb others with low frequencies.

Such an impressive list of features perfectly shows that the creators of the device really took care of its convenience of use. The creators of SVEN SB-2200D did not save on equipment: the set includes batteries for the remote control, optical cable, template and brackets for mounting on the wall... Generally, you do not need to buy any accessories.
