A handy, convenient and easy-to-use steam inhaler for adults to carry out inhalations both at home and at work. All you need is warm water and a few drops of oil for inhalation.
The container has handles that make it easier to hold the inhaler in the correct position. When inhaling, the mask must fit snugly over the mouth and nose. The inhaler can be used by people with vascular skin. A small, flexible, tightly fitting mask protects the face from water vapor, which can contribute to broken capillaries.
Inhalation is one of the best treatments for upper respiratory tract infections. Inhaling the drug in the form of steam is a proven way to runny nose, cough and clogged sinuses.
It is recommended that home inhalation lasts about 15 minutes, but not more than half an hour. If children are using the procedure, this time should be shortened to 5 minutes. It is best to perform inhalation two or three times a day for 5-7 days.
The temperature of the solution must not exceed 90°C. Before inhaling, the infusion should be cooled down a little beforehand.
During inhalation, breathe deeply through the nose and exhale with the mouth. If during inhalation the nose is clogged by discharge, the procedure should be stopped and removed.
The inhaler consists of two parts:
- container for aqueous solution
- funnel with anatomical mask
Precautions:
Inhalation should not be done after a meal, it may lead to vomiting or when we feel hungry.
Smokers should not smoke cigarettes at least half an hour before and two hours after inhalation, cigarette smoke can increase irritation of the mucous membranes.
For half an hour after the procedure, it is good to limit conversations and not have contact with cold air.
