Steam

A distinctive feature of steam irons is the reservoir, which is regularly replenished with water. Under the influence of high temperature, it passes into steam, escaping from the holes. Then the clothes are moistened and very easy to iron. The most important advantages of these devices include their high efficiency and reliable design.

Automatic shut-off of the iron

Some irons are equipped with a special sensor that flawlessly detects the movement of the device. When the iron remains motionless for a certain period of time, it will turn off automatically. It is definitely worth choosing this type of models, because they guarantee a very high level of safety. If after leaving the house you are constantly wondering whether the iron is turned off, you should definitely consider buying such equipment.

Dripping blockage

Dripping lock is a feature that prevents water from leaking both during operation of the device and when it is turned off. This solution works great when ironing in a horizontal position and provides above-average convenience of use. However, it should be remembered that storing the device with water after some time can lead to limescale deposition in the tubules. It is important to ensure proper conversation of the equipment.

Ceramic foot

Irons with ceramic alloy enjoy unflagging popularity. Their unquestionable advantage is a very good slip. In addition, this surface is scratch-resistant, so ironing clothes with buttons or zippers is not a problem. It is perfect even for ironing materials such as linen or silk. When buying, pay attention to whether the foot is heated evenly.
