1 Check the compatibility of the chain pitch. 2 Compare the width of the guide groove in the guide. Information about this parameter should also be visible around the mounting tip of the guide being compared, usually it is a dimension in inches: .043’, .050’, .058’, .063’ respectively in mm: 1,1 1,3 1,5 ,1,6, if the markings are not visible you can check this dimension by measuring the width of the part of the chain link that enters the guide according to the drawing.

3 Count the links in the current chain according to the figure shown.
