Cutting chains for STIHL Rapid Super chainsaws in the shape of the so-called. "full chisel" is one of the most commonly used chainsaws by professionals around the world. Exceptional cutting performance combined with high durability make Rapid Super chains suitable for both cutting and harvesting wood, as well as cutting the thickest firewood.

The shape of the full chisel is primarily suitable for cutting clean, hard material. It is characterized by higher cutting efficiency than a "half-length" chain, but it can blunt faster in soiled material. Full chisel chains are mainly used for professional applications.

The Oilomatic system reduces wear on the cutting system and reduces the risk of chain pulling. Additional channels in the drive link collect oil, transporting it evenly along the entire length of the chain. This solution significantly reduces friction and prolongs the life of the guide and chain.

Highest quality of workmanship:

STIHL chains are made of a special wear-resistant steel grade. The upper surface of the cutting tooth is additionally electrolytically chrome plated.

The rivets used to fasten the chain are inductively hardened in a high-frequency field. All these processes and materials used testify to the highest strength of STIHL production chains.

After the production of each of the STIHL chains is completed, it is subjected to a stretching process. The load of tension forces already during the production process limits the tendency of the chain to pull out at the first use.
