GSM2000LTE - GSM 2G / 4G LTE module - ELMES .

The device is designed to notify about events in alarm systems and control systems using SMS and CLIP messages, in the 2G and 4G LTE mobile network. The module also allows you to remotely control devices connected to its outputs using SMS and CLIP.

Specification:

• module power supply: 10-30 VDC or 12. .25VAC with a current capacity of at least 1A, resting current of 3 mA;
• external dimensions: (L/W/D) 96/63/28mm without antenna;
• 4 inputs with voltage level 0. .24V (relative to mass i.e. “-” power supply terminal),
• notification of up to 6 telephones;
• 4 relay outputs type NO/NC, with a load capacity of 0,5A/130VAC, 1A/30VDC;
• control of outputs from up to 2048 phones;
• operating temperature range: -20 to +70ºC.

The following are the most important features of the module:

• 4 inputs, each with programmable switching voltage level in the range of 0,2 - 14,5V and programmable hysteresis in the range of 0,1 - 5V,
• 4 relay outputs, galvanically separated, NO (normally open) or NC (normally compact) type
• mode of switching on outputs: monostable (time switching) or bistable (on/off),
• switching on outputs via SMS or CLIP from up to 2048 phones,
• switching on outputs by violating the module input,
• memory of 1790 CLIP and SMS events;
• SMS and CLIP notification sent to up to 6 phone numbers,
• the ability to remotely add and remove phones supported by the module;
• separate memory of administrators and ordinary users;
• periodic test of the module in the form of SMS or CLIP to one or two numbers
• telephones, sent at a specific time of day or every specified time;
• Status SMS about the status of all module inputs and outputs;
• TAMPER switch for opening the module housing,
• limiting the number of SMS messages sent during the day, with the possibility of disabling it;

Programming of settings and updating of the system software (firmware) of the module is performed from the level of a personal computer (PC) with Windows®, using the configuration program "GSM2 Configurator", which is available for download from the manufacturer's website ELMES ELEKTROIK.

Module INPUTS

The module has 4 inputs control with a maximum, permissible level of input voltage

relative to the weight of the module (minus the supply voltage) 24VDC

Using the "GSM2 Configurator" program, the following parameters are determined for each input separately:

• switching voltage level in the range of 0,2 – 14,5V, and hysteresis from 0,1 to 5V for each input,
• whether the active (switching) level of the input is high (H) or low (L) voltage,
• Input sensitivity, i.e. the minimum duration of the entry breach after which it will be considered valid.
• adjustment range: 0,2s.. .65536s with an accuracy of 0,1s.
• time of freezing the entrance after its violation in the range from 0 to 255 s with a step every 1 s.

After violating the input and notifying CLIP or SMS, the countdown takes place,

when subsequent entry violations will not trigger CLIP or SMS notifications.

This avoids the situation when the module sends a series of CLIP or SMS, if its input is stimulated by a series of short pulses, e.g. from the motion detector.

• telephones to which you should send SMS when switching on the input (change of state from inactive to active),
• telephones to which SMS should be sent when turning off the input (change of state from active to inactive),
• content of SMS messages sent when the input is switched on and off (maximum 63 characters),
• phones to which you need to make a CLIP notification (ringing) when the input is switched on.

When notifying CLIP, when the number is busy or unavailable, the module repeats 2 more times the attempt to connect to this number,

However, it previously links to other numbers on the list. After making these calls, it returns to unrealized connections.

It considers a connection that:

• was rejected;
• has been received and subsequently terminated by the recipient;
• was received by the recipient, but completed by the module, because the set notification time (up to 99s) expired;

If the call has neither been rejected nor received, but the set notification time (up to 99s) has expired, the module will accept,

that the connection has not been completed and will try to repeat it 2 times. This function can be disabled – then the module rings only once.

It is possible to interrupt the CLIP notification queue after the first successful notification (if any recipient has rejected the call, the module will not notify the remaining numbers).

OUTPUTS OF THE Module

The module has 4 relay outputs.

Two contacts of each relay are output to the installation terminals, and the jumpers set the NO or NC type of operation.

For each output, the following parameters are specified in the "GSM2 Configurator" program:

• output name (up to 16 characters maximum),
• one of the four operating modes,
• whether the relay is to be switched on or off when the output is activated,

Output control can be done by sending an SMS message to the module.

The user specifies:

• whether the SMS message must start with a password,
• whether the SMS message can be sent from any number or only from selected numbers from the list,
• whether the letter size of the message is relevant,
• whether the module is to send an SMS back with confirmation of execution, or – in case of an error – rejection of SMS.

Output control can also be done by calling the phone number of the module from one of the 2048 numbers in the list.

For each of these phones, it is determined which output it will control (you can control several outputs at the same time).

This method allows you to switch on outputs only for pre-programmed time (monostable mode),

but not permanently (bistable mode is not available).

The last, third way to control outputs – by violating the input – allows you to turn on

any exit or multiple exits at once by violating a specific input.

The output can be switched on as monostable (for modes 1 and 2) or bistable (for modes 3 and 4)

The module requires configuration in the "GSM Configurator" program. Before starting this process, we recommend that you update your firmware to the latest version. All downloads in the links at the top of the page. For proper operation with your computer, download and install the kabal miniUSB, and GSM2/GSM2000 configurator drivers. D

If we have a list of phones in the form of a text file and we would like to upload it to the module, you can use a text editor that allows you to copy and paste a column of text, e.g. notepad++. To do this, paste the list of phones into the settings file, previously read from the module and saved to disk.

The firmware update of the module is done in GSM2 Configurator in Menu -> Tools -> Firmware Update.

GSM2000LTEand older GSM2 and GSM2000 consist of GSM module, GSM antenna and housing.

The module programming cable is an additional component and is not included.

GSM modules offered since December 2010 are equipped with a mini USB port - type B and require a popular mini-USB cable to connect to a PC.

The program "GSM Configurator" uses the library: "Microsoft . NET Framework 2.0". It is recommended to install its latest version from "Service Pack 2".

You can also install: "Microsoft Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1", which includes i.a. "Microsoft. NET Framework 2.0 SP2".
