Connection and functionality
This adapter allows you to connect your headphones, stereo system, or active speaker to your TV's HDMI-ARC connector.
The device is compatible with Full HD and UltraHD resolutions.
It is possible to use both audio outputs simultaneously: cinch and jack 3,5 mm.
Volume control is done as standard using the TV remote control (supports HDMI-CEC).
Power supply and configuration
A USB port is required to power the adapter, for example from a TV port.
In ARC mode, the TV’s internal speakers are usually automatically muted.
The adapter supports stereo audio. It is required to set the sound format on the TV to PCM stereo (not Dolby Digital or Bypass).
The audio output level is 2 V p-p.
