2. ESPHome or Tasmota: The controller requires you to upload ESPHome or Tasmota software. The default settings include the CEC pin on GPIO14, but it is recommended to customize the YAML configuration to your individual needs.

2. Home Assistant Supervised:

   Installation on Linux systems that allow access to HDMI ports and support for CEC.

3. Home Assistant Container:

   Requires Docker container configuration with adequate access to HDMI-CEC devices.

4. Home Assistant Core:

   Installation on operating systems such as Debian, with proper hdmi_cec integration configuration.

Comments on installation:

• The SLWF-08 requires you to upload ESPHome firmware, which is compatible with Home Assistant. Firmware can be customized with YAML files
• Before installation, make sure that the hardware supports HDMI-CEC, as not all devices are compatible

Instructions for installing firmware via USB

Installation steps:

1. Introduce the device into bootable mode:

   Press the FLH button on the device to switch it to bootable mode.

2. Connect your device to your computer:

   Connect the USB cable to the Type-C port on the SLWF-08 and to your computer.

3. Flashing firmware:

   Use any flashing tool, e.g. ESPHome Web Flasher (available here: web.esphome.io) to upload the software.

4. Driver installation:

   Make sure you have the drivers installed for the CH9102 USB/UART controller.
