The HDMI to IP converter by Signal HD allows you to connect a high-definition (HD) signal to a receiver (TV, monitor) equipped with an HDMI connector via a cat 5e or cat twisted pair computer twisted pair cable. 6. The set includes a transmitter and a receiver. In addition, it is possible to extend the USB port, e.g. to control the mouse recorder.

The IP signal coming out of the transmitter can be given to an Ethernet switch to divide into a larger number of receivers. The bitrate of the compressed signal at the transmitter output is about 15 Mbit / s. To correctly decode the signal with more devices displaying the image, a dedicated receiver HDMI+USB-EX-100/RX is necessary - it is impossible to preview the image on a PC equipped with a network card.
