The inverter powers connected receivers by drawing energy from the 230V grid or connected batteries or connected photovoltaic panels.

At the same time, using the connected panels, it allows you to charge the batteries with solar energy or using the built-in charger. It works with or without PV panels, with or without 230V network and as one of the few (absolute novelty) also with or without batteries.

Only three types of photovoltaic modules are allowed: monocrystalline, polycrystalline with class A modules and CIGS modules.

To avoid malfunction, do not connect any photovoltaic modules with possible current leakage to the inverter. For example, grounded photovoltaic modules will cause current to flow into the inverter. Hybrid inverters work best in a place where we have solar panels and we want to use them to send receivers saving energy from the grid. Such an inverter also acts as a battery charger (here with efficient MPPT function). It can also be used as a regular UPS (a device that maintains power in the event of a power outage in the network). The inverter switches power between network operation and operation from connected panels or batteries automatically, imperceptibly for powered receivers.

So e.g. In the house, we can use solar energy, and when it runs out, the inverter will draw electricity from connected, charged batteries or switch to mains power.

In another configuration, it can still operate by drawing electricity from the mains, and when it stops feeding 230V it will switch to power from connected panels and/or batteries, maintaining the power supply to the receivers. When flooding from the mains is restored, the charger (built-in rectifier) will recharge the batteries.

When there are no batteries, the inverter simply converts the current directly from the panels to the receivers or if the current from the panels is too little switches to power the receivers from the mains.
