How to use Sollux lamp?
The Sollux lamp is extremely easy to use, and its use does not require special skills. For best results:
1 Prepare the skin – before starting therapy, make sure that the irradiated area is clean and dry.
2 Set the lamp – direct the light to the selected area of the body, keeping a distance of approx. 20-50 cm from the skin.
3 Adjust the angle of inclination – choose the best position for optimal exposure.
4 Illuminate for 10-20 minutes – the recommended session length is 10-20 minutes, depending on your needs.
5 Repeat regularly – for best results, use therapy 1-2 times a day.
Be sure to avoid direct contact of light with your eyes. When used on the face, it is worth using protective glasses.
The infrared lamp is designed to illuminate the human body. The heat emitted by the lamp penetrates the body. The exposed skin is better bloodied, and the metabolism within the irradiation increases. The action of infrared light stimulates healing processes.
Infrared light can be used e.g. in therapy supporting the treatment of diseases of the ears, nose, throat and larynx and as a means of supporting face and beauty care, especially in the case of skin problems. The heat produced by the solux lamp can also have an adjunct effect in the treatment of muscle tension and colds, because it causes dilation of blood vessels and thus improves blood circulation.

The sollux lamp is used in such cases as:
Ø chronic inflammatory and rheumatic processes of joints;
Ø post-traumatic conditions of the limbs;
Ø chronic inflammation of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, outer ear and mandible joints;
Ø chronic and subacute peripheral nerve inflammation;
Ø muscle pain;
Ø cranial nerve inflammation II and VII;
Ø herpes zoster;
Ø freezing;
Ø burns;
Ø contractions;
Ø hard to heal wounds;
Ø rosacea, juvenile;
Ø conditions after bacterial inflammation and damage to the skin with X-rays;
Ø preparation for massage, kinesitherapy and treatments with electricity.
The biological impact of infrared radiation consists in the action of heat, which causes, among others:
Ø improvement of blood supply to the skin and increase sweat secretion;
Ø dilatation of the capillaries of the skin and thus increased flow through arterial blood tissues;
Ø reactions from deeper vessels according to Dastre-Morata law. This law states that "thermal stimuli (cold or warm) acting on large areas of the skin cause the opposite behavior of large vessels of the chest and abdominal cavity to the skin vessels. The vessels of the kidneys, spleen and brain show the same reaction as the vessels of the skin. ";
Ø stimulus of metabolic processes;
Ø analgesic effect by increasing the pain threshold;
Ø reduction of muscle tension;
Ø relief of migraine attacks.
Infrared radiation is part of the invisible electromagnetic radiation that is located in the spectrum between red and microwaves. It is emitted by hot bodies. In medicine, radiation with a wavelength from 770 to 15 000 nm is used. The biological action of infrared radiation is based on thermal influence. Thanks to this, it dilates the blood vessels of the skin and causes reactions from deeper vessels, reduces skeletal muscle tension, has an analgesic effect increasing the pain threshold, increases metabolism and stimulates the skin's heat receptors, affecting the deeper organs through reflexes.
Lamps are used in hospitals, clinics, physical therapy and cosmetic offices and in the patient’s home for direct rehabilitation. How does infrared affect the living organism? In biological tissue, it primarily causes thermal reactions. In contact with the skin, it results in heating and causes sweating. It has biostimulating and health properties, hence its use in the case of muscle pain, treatment of injuries and inflammations and shallow circulatory disorders. With its help, you can treat such diseases as: skin diseases, muscles, sciatica, high blood pressure, stress, fatigue, rheumatism, headache, arthritis, insomnia, colds. Infrared energy has a positive effect on the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, water-electrolyte management, secretory function of the kidneys and many other glands. In addition, it reduces muscle tension, reduces nervous excitability and receptor sensitivity, which has a calming and analgesic effect, as well as significantly accelerates metabolism. Infrared radiation cleanses the skin and subcutaneous tissues of toxins, including what may be of particular interest to ladies, from a gelling substance consisting of fat, water and other unnecessary substances, located in folds under the skin, i.e. cellulite.
