Description

The Kenik IP camera is ideal for monitoring systems requiring the highest image quality. The 5MPX sensor and advanced H.265+ compression used in it ensure the recognition of many details both during the day and at night. Moreover, the user can use intelligent image analysis to increase the security of the protected facility. Many other functionalities, i.e. ROI, hardware WDR ensures that the image is as clear as possible, without distortions and allows the identification of people or objects. In addition, the camera can work in the cloud, and the connection is extremely simple. A user from anywhere in the world can use their smartphone to check what is happening in the monitored facility. Additionally, Kenik camera uses Power over Ethernet (POE), so we do not need to lay two cables, as a twisted pair cable is enough to connect the cameras to other devices in the network.

Intelligent illuminator - modern IR+LED combination

The white light illuminator and the IR illuminator are advanced elements of the modern Smart Illumination technology used in Kenik cameras. When motion is detected, the white light spotlight activates, allowing the camera to record in full color, making it much easier to identify details. When the monitored area is left by an object, the IR illuminator takes over the lighting function and the camera automatically switches to black and white mode, which saves energy while maintaining high-quality recordings at night.

Smart Illumination

Smart Illumination is a modern technology used in Kenik cameras, which starts recording in color when motion is detected in the image monitored by the camera. When the object leaves the area, the camera returns to black and white recording mode.

Intelligent Image Analysis (IVS)

A big advantage of the camera is its support for intelligent video image analysis. Event detection was used for: human/vehicle detection, line crossing, intruder detection, area entry, area exit, fast movement. This increases the effectiveness of the monitoring system and the security of the controlled facility.

Onvif

Onvif (Open Network Video Interface Forum) is an organization of CCTV industry manufacturers focused on the issue of unifying a standard, a common protocol for these devices. This group was created to standardize the protocol, i.e. the method of communication between devices from different vendors. Currently, the entire organization brings together approximately 450 companies and institutions from around the world.

The Onvif standard itself, since its introduction, has gone through subsequent phases of development and encountered various unexpected problems. It happened that two different devices with the implemented protocol did not work or their functionality was limited. Today, the standard is offered in version 2.6 and in the vast majority of cases allows for seamless integration of any devices.

Kenik Mobile View

Thanks to the free Kenik Mobile application, we can remotely view the camera image on our mobile phone. Just download it from the app store. Supports systems such as: Android, iOS. This gives us the ability to control what is happening in the monitored facility from anywhere in the world. When connected to the cloud, simply enter the camera ID number and enjoy remote access to the device.

Working in the Kenik cloud

Every Kenik IP camera has the ability to connect via the cloud. Thanks to this solution, without any complicated configuration, each user can easily connect to the camera and view the image. There is no need for port forwarding or a public IP address, just connect to the internet (including LTE) and create an account on KENIKP2P ( www.kenikp2p.com ). The service is free.

VMS Pro Software

VMS Pro is software that allows you to view images and manage the recorder on your computer. It allows you to connect several recorders located in different locations and view images from up to 128 cameras. In addition, creating an e-map makes browsing easier and allows the system to be divided into zones. Support for up to 4 monitors simultaneously will certainly be helpful in this regard.

WDR

The WDR function allows you to obtain an image with uniform brightness in every part of the frame. It is necessary in places with very large differences in light levels in different areas. Cameras with WDR are particularly useful in building entrances, glass walls, etc.

SD card reader

The camera allows you to record video material on a memory card based on a set schedule or motion detection. The reader supports cards up to 256GB. This allows the camera to operate autonomously without the use of a recorder or to create an emergency backup.

Motion detection

Motion detection is one of the camera functions that is responsible for image recording. Detection is based on capturing changes in the image, and then recording of the selected channel is activated. This function has a number of additional options, including defining the detection field and adjusting the appropriate sensitivity of the changes taking place, which are responsible for the recording.
