TVIP S-Box v.605 IPTV 4K UHD Media Player with Wi-Fi

TVIP S-Box v.605 is a compact 4K UHD media player designed for receiving IPTV and OTT services. The device runs Linux or Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and supports a wide range of middleware, making it a flexible solution for both home users and IPTV operators. Thanks to the built-in dual-band Wi-Fi module (2,4/5 GHz) and Ethernet connector, the player can be connected to the network in a wired or wireless way. It is worth remembering that the device is not factory configured for any specific service – access to IPTV content requires an active subscription from the selected provider.

Powerful processor and smooth 4K playback

At the heart of the device is the quad-core Amlogic S905X processor clocked at 2 GHz, supported by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal Flash memory (eMMC). This configuration ensures smooth interface operation and seamless playback of video content at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K HDR) at speeds up to 60 frames per second. The Mali-450 penta core chip with OpenGL ES 2.0 support is responsible for 3D graphics rendering.

Support for video and audio codecs

The TVIP S-Box v.605 supports all popular video formats, including H.265 (HEVC, 10-bit), VP9, H.264, MPEG4 ASP, Xvid, MPEG2 and MJPEG – meaning it can handle both modern 4K streams and older recordings. Supported audio formats include MPEG/MP3/MPA, AAC, WMA, OGG, WAV, FLAC and APE. The device also supports subtitles in DVBSUB, VOBSUB, Teletext, SSA/ASS and SubRip formats, as well as displaying JPEG and PNG images.

Extensive support for IPTV software

The player is compatible with the most popular middleware platforms: TVIP, IPTVPORTAL, Stalker and portals based on HTML5/JS. It supports remote configuration management via TR-069 or TVIP XML protocol, which is especially useful in operator environments. In terms of transmission protocols, the device supports UDP, RTP, HTTP, HLS, RTSP, SMB and NFS. CAS/DRM security systems include TVIP, Verimatrix 3.x, IPTVPORTAL and BISS, and optionally Widevine.

Supported media containers are MPEG-TS, MPEG-PS, MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, FLV and OGG.

Connectors and connectivity

The device is equipped with HDMI, AV output, Ethernet port, two USB ports, MicroSD card reader and external infrared receiver (ext.IR). The 802.11 b/g/n/ac compliant Wi-Fi module supports both the 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, ensuring a stable wireless connection even on congested networks. The compact housing with dimensions of 115 x 115 x 15 mm allows for discreet placement of the device next to the TV.
