The motion sensor detects movement in the room and transmits information through the gateway to the application. The application on this basis controls the bulb – it lights it up during movement, and after a set period without movement, it automatically extinguishes. Since the bulb is colorful, automation can be expanded: e.g. At night, turn on a dimmed, warm light, so as not to dazzle, and during the day – full brightness. It is a ready set for classic use: corridor, stairs, dressing room, basement or utility room.

⚙ How to set it up – all in one app

Configuration takes place entirely in the TUYA Smart / Smart Life application, without writing the code:

1. Pair the gateway with the app and connect a motion sensor to it.
2. Screw the bulb into the holder and connect it to the WiFi network (connects directly, does not need a gateway).
3. Create one simple automation (scene): "when the sensor detects movement → light the bulb (e.g. in the selected color or brightness), and after a set time, turn it off automatically."

The sensor communicates via ZigBee and the bulb via WiFi – these are different protocols, but both devices are visible in the same application, so the automation between them works without any additional settings.

⚠ Important technical information before purchase

• The bulb must be constantly powered to respond to the motion sensor – the wall switch in the room should be turned on permanently, because the application decides to turn on and off the light, not the traditional switch.
• The bulb works only in the WiFi band 2,4 GHz – it does not support 5 GHz networks.
• The motion sensor itself does not control anything directly – only together with the bulb (as in this set) creates full lighting automation.
