The Forta Zigbee socket is a device that allows you to remotely control the switching on and off of electrical devices connected to it using the Zigbee wireless network (via the free TUYA/SmartLife/Google Home/Home Assistant application). The socket is equipped with the Zigbee communication module, so it can be connected to a smart home system that allows you to remotely control your devices using a smartphone or voice assistants, such as Google Assistant, from anywhere on the planet.

In addition, the Zigbee socket has a built-in energy consumption sensor that allows you to monitor the amount of energy consumed by the devices connected to it. This allows you to control energy costs and track energy consumption of individual devices. The Zigbee socket energy measurement feature allows you to lead a more informed and eco-friendly lifestyle by controlling and minimizing energy consumption.

Compared to many other outlets on the market, our outlets offer a higher level of safety thanks to the use of a branded thermal fuse 115°C and a high-speed MOV varistor (400 V, 250 ns), which effectively protects devices from overheating and surges, preventing short circuits and the risk of fire.

⚠ A Zigbee gateway/coordinator is required.

The socket is CE LVD, CE RED, CE EMC and RoHS certified. Official distribution.

The following description applies only to the TUYA system. Functionality in other applications may vary.

Sockets allow us to significantly modernize our home, giving opportunities that we have not had before. The device in the form of an adapter with a European plug connected directly to any power socket will be used wherever we want to remotely manage electrical devices in a convenient and maintenance-free way.

✔ Enable/disable from any location using the app

✔ On/off manually with the backlight button

✔ Stopwatch (Countdown) - setting the time to turn off

✔ Schedule - planned weekly automation cycle on/off

✔ Time loop (Circulate) - weekly on/off cycle with specified intervals (e.g. on for 2 minutes, off for 4 minutes).

✔ Memory after power outage

✔ Control based on changes in network voltage

✔ Scene - see below

The scenario function allows you to create different conditions that, when met, trigger a specific action on smart devices.

A few examples:

  1. Forget about going back to the dark house. With the Smart Life app, you can program the lights to turn on automatically when you’re near your home, as well as turn them off when you’re away from it.
  2. Control the lighting according to your schedule. You can set the lights to turn on and off temporarily using your sunrise and sunset routine (lighting automatically lights up after sunset and turns off after sunrise). Thanks to this, you do not have to remember to check whether all the lights have been turned off before leaving the house – the Smart Life app will do it for you.
  3. Automatically turn on the light in response to other smart devices. For example, in combination with a motion sensor or an opening sensor, the light will turn on automatically when motion or door/window opening is detected. You can also create more advanced scenarios using the presence sensor so that the light will shine when someone is in the room.
  4. Temperature comfort without effort. If your air conditioner or boiler is connected to a smart plug, you can turn it on and off when the temperature, humidity, wind speed or forecast reaches certain values.
  5. The perfect deterrent for thieves. The application allows you to plan the operation of devices at home (for example, lamps) so that they simulate the presence of residents. This can effectively deter potential burglars. In the app, you can set a turn-on schedule so that the plug can turn on the light for a few hours in the evening on selected days of the week, such as Friday, Saturday and Sunday when you are not at home.
  6. In the application, you can also set scenes, for example, switching on three plugins at the same time and simple automation - if one plugin is turned on, the other will turn on/off immediately or after a certain time, for example 5 minutes.

...and many other uses.

Automation scenes in response to specific energy conditions

The socket allows you to create advanced automation scenes in the TUYA/Smart Life application. It can control other devices or its own state based on:

  • changes in voltage in the network,
  • changes in the value of electricity,
  • changes in the power consumed,
  • energy consumption (kWh).

This makes m.in possible. automatically turn on, turn off or send notifications in response to specific energy parameters. Scenes can be customized to suit individual needs, creating smart rules for the whole house or individual devices.

The watt-meter feature allows you to see which devices are consuming the most energy - so you can implement a savings plan and reduce your electricity expenses. Check how much energy your computer, TV, washing machine, phone charger consumes. Once you know which device consumes the most energy, simply program it and create an action plan around the clock, week and month.

Your family or friends can also conveniently manage your smart home. If you want, share with selected friends sockets and connected devices in the app. Thanks to this, they will also be able to remotely operate equipment, monitor energy consumption and create schedules. You can easily make your home a friendly place for the whole family!

An additional advantage of our socket is integration with Amazon Alexa voice assistants, Google Assistant, as well as Apple Siri (for users with the Zigbee+HomeKit gateway). This functionality allows users to conveniently control the device using the most famous and popular voice assistants. Simply issue a simple voice command to turn your device on and control. The versatility of integration with voice assistants ensures that this outlet is seamlessly connected to existing smart devices in your home, ensuring full compatibility.

Example: If you have an Android phone, just say "OK Google"* to activate the assistant. Then, by saying the command "Turn on the living room lighting" (assuming that the name of the outlet is "living room lighting") near the phone, we will run the lamp in the living room. Similarly, Apple users can use Siri to control, such as "Hey Siri, turn on the living room lighting" if they have the Zigbee+HomeKit gateway set up.

*needs to be associated with Google Home (in TUYA/SmartLife settings).
