Homey Pro Mini is a modern foundation for a smart home, designed for users who value stability, privacy and the latest communication standards. Unlike consumer Wi-Fi-based gateways, the Pro Mini focuses on an uncompromising Gigabit Ethernet wired connection. This is a plug-and-forget device – it works locally, without lag and without the risk of wireless interference.

It is a full-fledged automation computer (Quad-core ARMv8) enclosed in a compact housing, natively supporting the protocols of the future: Matter and Thread.

🌐 1. Modern Communication (Matter & Thread)

Homey Pro Mini is ready for the future. It acts as a Thread Border Router, which allows for instant communication with the latest sensors and accessories (e.g. Eve, Aqara) without charging your home Wi-Fi. With support for Matter (v1.3), it integrates devices from different brands into one cohesive ecosystem.

All automation processes take place on-premises on the device, not in the manufacturer's cloud.

You have older devices (e.g. blinds on the remote control 433MHz, Z-Wave sensors)? Nothing is lost. Homey Pro Mini can be expanded with Homey Bridge (sold separately). When paired in satellite mode, Bridge becomes an "antenna extension" for the Mini control panel, adding support for older protocols while maintaining the computing power of the Pro version.
