Large double-sided axe with granulation 1000/3000 used for sharpening the correct tools of larger sizes made of carbon steel (non-alloy), as well as alloy steel. It can work with all sharpening guides. Has an integral base/box.

• The stone has a box/base that provides stability during sharpening, also makes it easy to store protecting the stone from damage. During sharpening, the container can also be filled with water and used to soak the stone in it.
• The stone comes complete with a small Nagura stone, which is designed to clean the surface of the whetstone, as well as to create a polishing paste.

How to use:

• Stone before use should be soaked in water for approx. 10 minutes.
• When sharpening, the stone should always be on a flat and non-slip surface, which in this case will be provided by the included stand.
• Since the stone is deformed during sharpening, it should be rotated as much as possible. This will avoid a significant loss of material in only one place and will extend the life of the stone. In addition, it will ensure that the blade will always come into contact with the optimally flat surface, and thus increase the efficiency of sharpening.
• After use, the stone should be regenerated, i.e. align its surface. Only completely flat stone will be effective, especially when sharpening wide blades.
