✳ Disc replacement:

1. Unscrew shield

With the included Allen wrench, loosen the screw that attaches the protective cover and remove it from the device to access the spindle.

2. Take off the old shield (if fitted)

With caution, remove the worn disc from the axis of the grinder by gripping it at the edge.

3. Put on a new shield

Apply a new shield (e.g. for metal or wood) on the spindle of the grinder, ensuring a proper fit to the M5 thread. Hold the dial and tighten the mounting screw with an Allen wrench.

4. Install the cover and check the mount

Reattach the protective cover and tighten it, making sure it is firmly fixed. Then check that the shield is well set and there is no slack.
