Design and stability

If you have several cats or plan a scratching post above 2 meters, the width of the base alone is not enough. At 206 cm, the rules of the game change, because the center of gravity travels higher and each jump makes more torque.

Surfaces for scratching

The scratching surface is covered with sizal, which is a natural agave fiber tightly wrapped around vertical posts at full length. The scratcher has 13 separate sisal surfaces, so at home with several cats, no one is waiting in line when the other cat is sharpening its claws.

Cats choose sisal instead of synthetics, because the texture resembles the bark of a tree, and the bark of a cat rubs its claws in nature.
