Baratza Encore ESP is an automatic coffee grinder for home use. With a wide range of grinding thicknesses, the Encore ESP can handle precise coffee grinding with ease, both under espresso and under overflow brewing methods. The grinder is easy to use, takes up little space, and it only takes a moment to grind coffee using it. It is ideal for those starting their adventure with coffee and for more demanding home baristas.

Construction and use

The grinder housing has a minimalist design, is compact and is made of plastic that does not collect fingerprints. It is an on demand grinder, so grinding is done on demand - ground coffee is immediately before brewing straight into the container. The grinder is equipped with two containers - larger for overflow brewing methods and smaller diameter to fit most portafilters (diameter 54mm and an additional adapter increasing the diameter to 58mm). Grinding is done through a pulse button, thanks to which you have full control over the amount of ground coffee. In addition, Encore ESP has a new on and off switch.

Milling adjustment

Encore ESP offers up to 40 degrees of coffee grinding, from very fine to thick. The range 1-20 is suitable for espresso and coffee maker, while the settings 21-40 will check in overflow methods such as Chemex, AeroPress, dripper, siphon or french press. Regardless of the grinding settings, the grinder has low retention - the residue of ground coffee does not stay in the grinder.

Żarna

The grinder is equipped with 40mm M2 conical hardened steel filaments, manufactured in Europe. Maintenance of the grinder is extremely easy due to the fact that removing the filament does not require any tools and takes a few seconds.

Engine

Baratza Encore ESP is equipped with a powerful DC motor with high torque and low revs (550 RPM) thanks to electronic reduction. Thanks to this, the engine operation is smoother, quieter and generates a lower temperature. It is additionally protected from overheating by a thermal switch.
