Why choose the ZrO₂ ceramic axle instead of the stainless steel axis?

In many pool pumps and jacuzzis, stainless steel axles are used at the factory. Although this solution is cheaper to manufacture, steel wears out naturally over time. Working with bushings and rotor, the axle surface gradually wipes off, which leads to clearance, increased noise and deterioration of pump operating parameters. In intensively operated devices, it happens that the steel axle needs to be replaced after just one season of use.

The zirconium oxide (ZrO₂) axle is a premium solution. Zirconium ceramic is characterized by many times greater abrasion resistance than stainless steel, thanks to which it retains its dimensions and smoothness of the surface for a very long time.
