Usage:
- Before each use, the pot should be soaked in water for 10-15 minutes. We soak the pot completely together with the lid. Then it should be put in a cold oven. For a crispy dish, remove the lid of the pot 10 minutes before the end of baking.
- Before baking bread, grease the pot with butter or coconut oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or flour to easily remove the baked loaf
- The pot should not be placed directly on gas or electric hob.
- The Roman pot must not be subjected to sudden temperature changes.
- Do not pour cold liquids into a hot pot.
- The recommended maximum baking temperature in Roman pots is 200°C.
- The pot is designed for use in gas and electric ovens.
Washing and cleaning:
After use, the pot should be soaked several times in warm water, then washed with a sponge or a soft brush. Heavier dirt can be washed off using baking soda. From time to time, the pot should be boiled in vinegar water to neutralize odors. The pot should not be washed in the dishwasher.
After washing, the pot should be allowed to dry completely and stored open preferably in a ventilated place.
