Cast iron dishes from the French company Staub are a guarantee of quality for both the product itself and the dishes being prepared.

The dishes are made of cast iron steel, inside they are covered with a double layer of enamel, which prevents food from burning and allows for easy cleaning.

The lid has a system of spouts and recesses that condense the water discharged during cooking into the dish - ensuring that the moisture balance of the prepared dishes is maintained.

Lids can also be used in the oven - they have nickel handles.

Staub pots can be used not only in the oven - they are also ideal for all types of cookers, including induction cookers.

The brand is very popular among professional chefs of distinguished restaurants, where dishes are often served directly from the dish, putting them in front of the customer on the table.

Before first use:

  • Remove all stickers and labels from the product
  • Rinse the dish with hot water, dry (e.g. with a paper towel) and moisten with oil/oil inside the dish
  • Do not move the dish on the stove - it should be lifted - so as to avoid damage to the heating surface from the bottom
  • Preheating: It is recommended to preheat at low temperature (small fire) for 3-5 minutes, set aside the dish to cool, then wipe the oil/oil residue with a paper towel.

After carrying out these steps, the vessel is ready for use.

Cooking:

  • Cast iron should be heated gradually : It is recommended to preheat at low temperature (small fire) for 3-5 minutes, spread throughout the oil/oil vessel, then the degree of heating can be increased
  • It is worth remembering to adjust the bottom of the dish to the size of the burner
  • Can be cooked on all types of cookers (including induction and in the oven)
  • Black, matte, non-stick dish interior allows excellent baking/cooking
  • In order to preserve the properties of the non-stick coating, so that it serves for many years, it is worth using silicone or wood cooking utensils
  • Be aware of kitchen gloves when removing the lid or when lifting by the handles
  • High temperature resistance: cover : oven temperature up to 260C , cast iron dish: oven temperature up to 482C
  • Matte coating does not react with food (meat can be left in the marinade)
  • The handle from the lid may loosen over time, you can screw it with a regular screwdriver
  • During the preparation of the dish, the aroma and moisture coming out of them in the form of water vapor condenses from the lid (circulation of moisture inside the pot). Focusing on the lid, water vapor falls from individual projections vertically downwards. Thanks to this, stewed or baked food is constantly moistened
  • The dish from the cast iron dish Staub is more aromatic, expressive in taste and most importantly all nutrients, vitamins and minerals are preserved in the dish
  • The thickness of the dish is also an advantage, as the heat is distributed evenly. Thanks to this, dishes are heated on each side, reducing the risk of burning to a minimum.
  • Do not place a hot dish directly on the countertop - use coasters for this purpose.
  • The finished dish can be kept in a dish. Cast iron keeps you warm for a long time.
  • For safety: putting hot pots and dishes out of reach of children
  • Do not place dishes in the microwave
  • The cast iron cools very slowly. Heated dishes must not be poured with cold water (subject them to the so-called. thermal shock). Cast iron can crack.
  • Cast iron products should be protected from impact.

Cleaning:

  • It is not recommended to use the product in the dishwasher due to the possibility of color fading on the outside of the dish and the possibility of weakening the coating inside the pot. Hand washing is recommended.
  • First you need to leave the hot pot to cool - when it is cold - you can start cleaning
  • Pour hot water and dishwashing liquid into the dish
  • Use a sponge to clean
  • After washing: the dish should be wiped with a cloth, then in order for the dish to maintain a perfect, matte appearance, a thin layer of oil/oil should be distributed
  • Cast iron after washing should always be well dried. Never hide cast iron wet dishes in cabinets. Otherwise, rusty spots may appear. In this situation, rub the dish with baking soda, wipe with a paper towel, and then lubricate the dish with oil/oil.

Proper maintenance will ensure that Staub dishes will serve for many years. The peculiarity of cast iron lies in the fact that its value increases in strength over the years.

Guarantee:

Staub cast iron cookware is backed by a 30-year manufacturer's warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from: improper handling of the product, changes in the external and internal appearance of the enamel, gloss and color intensity and overheating (thermal shock), damage as a result of impacts, failure to comply with maintenance instructions, improper storage.
