True colloidal silver is an aqueous colloid of silver nanoparticles, occurring in the form of non-ionic metal particles. Silver nanoparticles are suspended and dissolved in water, but do not bind to its particles. Nano particles of silver, thanks to the same electrical charge, repel each other, so they remain in constant motion and float in the water. The bioavailability of this element is approx. 90-100% due to the very similar structure to body fluids.

Colloidal silver is known for its bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal properties. It has a very wide range of applications, from decontamination to protecting all surfaces against microorganisms.
