Pulmotrainer® consists of the following elements:

C – slider for smooth adjustment of the ball attraction force by the magnet (resistance to be overcome when exhaling),

D – the central part of the housing with an ergonomic mouthpiece,

E – the lower part of the housing (connected permanently).

Operation of the device:

By overcoming the resistance of the ball attracted by the magnet inside the Pulmotrainer device by the exhaled air, vibrations occur, which in turn cause vibrations that transfer from the device to the user's respiratory tract.

As a result of such a “vibration massage” of the respiratory tract, it facilitates the evacuation of secretions up the respiratory tract, improves lung function and oxygenation.

Thanks to the slider and scale on the central part of the housing of the Pulmotrainer®, you can easily and smoothly adjust the position of the ball in relation to the magnet.

In this way, we can increase or decrease the attraction force of the ball by the magnet so as to adjust the resistance to be overcome when exhaling to the needs and capabilities of each User.

The correct operation of the Pulmotrainer® does not require the User to assume a strictly defined position (e.g. standing, sitting or lying down), or to maintain a strictly defined angle of inclination of holding the device in the hand while using it.

How to use the device:

Take a comfortable position for yourself (Pulomotrainer can be used in any position), take the device in your hand, relax the abdominal muscles. Breathe in deeply and hold the air for a few seconds, then blow it into the mouthpiece until you feel a gentle vibration in your chest.

Exhausts should be calm and as slow as possible to keep the vibrations as long as possible. At the beginning of the exercises, set the slider in the position corresponding to the least resistance when exhaling. Then you can gradually increase it by choosing the level of resistance suitable for you.

Breathe evenly. The rhythm of exhalation should not be too fast or intermittent.

Daily use of the Pulmotrainer device supports normal lung function. For the first three days, do the exercises 3 times a day for 5 minutes. In the following days, you can gradually – according to your capabilities and needs – extend the time of a single exercise, e.g. up to 7-8 minutes, and after some time up to 10-12 minutes.
