✅ How to connect an antenna with an amplifier – step by step

▶ Mount the antenna outside – as high as possible (mast, balcony, facade).

▶ Set it to the nearest transmitter (check the DVB-T2 map).

▶ Connect the amplifier through (20 dB) to the antenna output.

▶ Then connect the antenna cable.

▶ At the end of the cable, install a power supply with a separator and connect it to electricity.

▶ Plug the output from the separator into the antenna input in the TV or set-top box.

▶ Enable automatic channel search (DVB-T / DVB-T2).

⭐ Tip: For best effect, set the antenna exactly to the transmitter – a map or mobile application will help.

✅ How to set the antenna to receive MUX-8 (vertical polarization)

The TAMDEL TAZ-19 antenna has two dipoles:

• larger – up to MUX-8 (VHF)

• smaller – for MUX1–MUX4 (UHF)

In many regions, MUX-8 is broadcast in vertical polarization, therefore:

▶ Turn only the larger dipole 90° – position it vertically.

▶ Do not rotate the entire antenna – just change the dipole position.

▶ The remaining channels will continue to be received correctly (in horizontal polarity).

⭐ Thanks to this function, the antenna operates simultaneously in two polarities – and receives all DVB-T2 channels even in difficult conditions.
