✅ How to connect the antenna – step by step

1. Mount the antenna outside – preferably as high as possible (wall, balcony, mast).
2. Set it towards the nearest transmitter (check the DVB-T2 map).
3. Connect the antenna cable to the TV or decoder (antenna input).
4. Enable channel search – select automatic or manual mode (DVB-T / DVB-T2).

✅ How to set the antenna to receive MUX-8 (vertical polarization)

The TAMDEL TAZ-26 antenna has two independent reception paths:

• larger dipole and director – up to VHF band (MUX-8)

• smaller dipole – up to UHF band (MUX1–MUX4)

In many regions, MUX-8 is broadcast in vertical polarization, therefore:

▶ Turn the larger VHF dipole and its director 90° – position them vertically.

▶Do not rotate the entire antenna – just change the position of these elements.

▶ MUX1–MUX4 (UHF) channels will continue to be received in horizontal polarity.

⭐Expanded section of directors in the VHF band (model TAZ-26) significantly improves the stability of MUX-8 reception – even at a greater distance from the transmitter.
