A high-quality 1/2.7" progressive scan CMOS image sensor was used to build the BCS-P-DIP15FSR3-Ai camera. Thanks to it, it is able to generate smooth and detailed video material, at a maximum resolution of 2880 x 1620 (max. 25 fps @ 5 Mpx). The image in 5 Mpx resolution allows you to make an effective digital close-up and correctly reproduces even very small details of the observed plan.

This makes the camera work great in systems where high image quality is crucial. It can be successfully used in commercial facilities, industrial facilities or public facilities.

The transducers also have a very high sensitivity. Thanks to it, the camera can capture clear and colorful images, even in very low light conditions. The minimum sensitivity for a color image is only 0.003 lux (F1.6, AGC on. ).

The camera is also equipped with a standard fixed focal length lens, with a width of 2.8 mm (F1.6). It provides a wide viewing angle (110° horizontal / 58.7° vertical), making the camera versatile and great for general viewing functions. Placed in the corner of a relatively small room, it should be able to observe them whole. Infrared light and filter

Effective operation in all lighting conditions

The camera has a built-in infrared illuminator, with an effective range of up to 30 m. Thanks to it, it can improve work at night, in low light conditions and even in complete darkness. The infrared illuminator starts automatically when the camera switches to night mode. An additional advantage of the BCS POINT series cameras is the ability to adjust the lighting power of the IR radiator. Properly selected illuminator power guarantees that the observed objects will not be overexposed or underexposed.

The camera is also equipped with a mechanical sliding infrared filter (ICR). In day mode, it is active and reflects a significant part of infrared radiation. Thanks to this, the image retains natural colors and high quality. When the camera switches to night mode, the filter is automatically removed from the transducer. Sensitivity parameters are improved and it is possible to work with artificial infrared light.

H.265 compression and dual encoding stream

Effective remote viewing and high quality recordings at the same time

It uses the improved H.264 algorithm, which enables up to twice as much compression, with virtually unchanged image quality.
