Multi-system camera

Working in HD-CVI / HD-CVI / AHD / CVBS

BCS-EA45VR4-G(H2) is a multi-system camera and can work in any CCTV system that uses coaxial cables for transmission. For example, it can be used to build a classic analogue system (CVBS) or a high-resolution HD-CVI / HD-TVI / AHD system.

The biggest advantages of high-resolution systems include:

• Megapixel image transmission over a classic coaxial cable
• Long effective transmission range, reaching up to 500 meters
• No visible delays that often occur in IP systems
• Wide bandwidth and no signal compression, which improves the quality during live view

Due to the above-mentioned features, high-resolution system cameras are great successors to classic analog systems. By far the biggest advantage is the transmission of images over standard coaxial cables. If you replace an existing analogue system, you can use the same cable structure. No need to replace the wiring makes the installation of high-resolution monitoring much faster and cheaper.

Detailed image in max. resolution 5 Mpx and high sensitivity

A high-quality 1/2.5" Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor was used to build the BCS-EA45VR4-G(H2) camera. Thanks to it, it is able to generate a smooth, full of vivid colors image, at a maximum resolution of 2704 x 1950 (max.20kl/s, 5 Mpx@ AHD/TVI). Video footage of this detail correctly reproduces even small details and allows you to make an effective digital zoom. Thanks to this, the camera is used in systems where high image quality is crucial. It works great in commercial facilities, industrial facilities or public facilities.

Lens 3.3 - 12mm

Free adjustment of proximity and viewing angle

The camera is also equipped with a zoom lens 3.3 - 12 mm (F1.2). It allows you to freely adjust the proximity and viewing angle (38° - 120° vertically), thanks to which the camera is universal. For example, it can be used to perform general preview functions or to observe a specific, relatively close frame. An additional advantage of the zoom lens is great freedom in choosing the place of mounting the camera. Practically regardless of the place of attachment, you can choose the observed frame so that the camera performs its function in the system.

Basic functions of the camera BCS-EA45VR4-G(H2):

• DNR (3D) - Digital noise reduction, improving overall image quality in low light conditions
• DWDR - Digital wide dynamic range, increasing the tonal span of the observed frame. Enables effective observation of the scene where there are both dark and light areas
• AGC - Automatically amplifies the output signal, in case of a decrease in illuminance
• AWB - Automatic white balance, allows faithful color reproduction
• BLC - Background light compensation, enables effective observation of objects on a strongly lit background
• HLC - Headlight compensation, increases the probability of e.g. correct detection of license plates at night when the car lights are on

Infrared light and filter

Effective operation in all lighting conditions

The camera has a built-in Black Glass infrared illuminator, with an effective range of up to 40 m. Thanks to it, it can improve work at night, in low light conditions and even in complete darkness. The infrared illuminator starts automatically when the camera switches to night mode.

The camera is also equipped with a mechanical sliding infrared filter (ICR). In day mode, it is active and reflects a significant part of infrared radiation. Thanks to this, the image retains natural colors and high quality. When the camera switches to night mode, the filter is automatically removed from the transducer. Sensitivity parameters are improved and it is possible to work with artificial infrared light.

Failure-free operation in outdoor conditions

Housing in IP66 protection class, provides almost complete protection against the influence of weather conditions. Thus, it enables trouble-free operation in external conditions, practically regardless of the prevailing weather conditions. IP66 housing provides protection against:

• Pollination and getting into its interior of small dirt
• Precipitation and splashing water from all directions
• Extremely low and high temperatures in the range of -20...+60 °C
