XGIMI Aura 2 short-focal laser projector

XGIMI Aura 2 is the new generation of Aura short-focal laser projector. It features 28% higher brightness, as well as support for 4K resolution and ultra-short throw. Already from a distance of 17,8 cm from the wall, the projector is able to display an image with a diagonal of 100 inches (the maximum recommended image size is 150 inches), which is due to the projection ratio of 0,177:1. This makes the device great for various rooms and is a great alternative to large TVs.

The Aura 2 won the prestigious EISA 2024-2025 award in the short-focal projector category. The jury appreciated the innovativeness of the projector, including the use of Dual Light 2.0 technology in the DLP system. It is an excellent choice for watching movies, TV shows, sports, and games. Dolby Vision and Imax Enhanced

The device has received Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced certifications (IOX support will be available after the upcoming software update). The projector impresses with its brightness of 2300 ISO lumens and dynamic contrast ratio of 1 000 000:1. The projector uses the unique Dual Light 2.0 technology developed specifically for this model. The use of a laser light source allows for a significant increase in image quality, especially in terms of brightness, contrast, color gamut and color reproduction precision. With its hybrid laser source design, the Aura 2 eliminates the problems found in triple laser projectors, resulting in smoother and more realistic projection.

ISA 5.0 technology

Aura 2 supports Intelligent Screen Adaption (ISA) version 5.0, which allows automatic screen calibration. Thanks to this, the user can quickly adjust the image parameters to ambient conditions, without the need for manual setting. The entire customization process takes just a few seconds, which greatly simplifies the operation and configuration of the device.

Automatic screen alignment

The Aura 2 automatically adjusts the image to the screen size and projector position relative to it. With the help of this feature, the projector provides perfect alignment, allowing you to get a clear and even image.

Automatic trapezoid correction

The projector automatically corrects any trapezoidal distortion, which eliminates the need for manual adjustment and allows you to get a perfectly matched image.

Adaptation to wall surface

Aura 2 offers a feature that allows you to adapt the image to any wall surface. After scanning the QR code and following a few simple steps, the projector provides a flat and clear image on each wall.

Adaptation to wall color

The precise CMOS module allows you to automatically adjust the color temperature of the displayed image to the color of the wall. Thanks to this, the colors are realistically reproduced, regardless of the surface on which the image is displayed.

Intelligent eye protection

For the safety of users, especially children, the Aura 2 is equipped with intelligent eye protection – the projector turns off the light when it detects the presence of a person in front of the device.

Autofocus

The projector automatically adjusts the sharpness of the image, which ensures always perfectly clear images without the need for manual adjustment.

Art Mode

The Art Mode feature allows you to display artwork on a wall or special screen. This mode of operation uses the XGIMI Wall software available in the application repository on the device. In this way, the projector becomes not only a functional but also an aesthetic element of the interior equipment.

Economic mode

Aura 2 supports Eco mode, which automatically reduces projector brightness after 5 minutes of inactivity and turns off the screen after 20 minutes. It not only saves energy, but also improves viewing comfort by reducing brightness at the right moments.

Android TV

With support for the Android TV platform, the user has access to a wide range of VOD applications and services, such as Amazon Prime Video or Disney+. Additionally, the projector has a built-in Chromecast, allowing you to stream content from iOS and Android devices. Voice control with Google Assistant is another feature that makes it easier to use the projector.

Support Dolby

XGIMI Aura 2 has built-in speakers and a 4 x 15 W amplifier. This allows you to play audio in the absence of an additional audio set. Aura 2 supports such sound systems as Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD, DTS Studio Sound and DTS Virtual:X. The projector can also act as a wireless speaker, which is due to the built-in Bluetooth module.
