1. Do not remove the material or mounting elastic from the frame

The softbox comes with a factory-installed plating and an elastic fastening elastic that keeps the material in the correct position on the frame.

Neither the material nor the fastening band should be removed.

Disassembly of the eraser can cause the material to slide out of the frame, which will make it much more difficult to reassemble and put it on correctly.

When folding and unfolding the softbox there is no need to remove the plating. The softbox acts as a classic umbrella – just open and close the frame mechanism, leaving the material and elastic in place.

To avoid installation problems:

• do not remove black material from the frame,
• do not remove the white fixing eraser,
• unfold and fold the softbox only with the umbrella mechanism.

Note: A photo of the material or eraser is not required during normal use and may make it difficult to reassemble the softbox.

2. Before the first start, remove the cover from the LED

The lamp is protected with a plastic cover to protect the LED (eye of the lamp) during transport.

Before connecting the power supply and turning on the lamp, it is mandatory to remove this cover.

Starting the lamp with the cover on can:

• reduce heat dissipation,
• lead to overheating,
• cause deformation or damage to the plastic cover.

After removing the cover, mount the softbox and only then connect the lamp to the power supply.

Note: The cover is a transport element and is not used during lamp operation.
