LED stair lighting 230V increases the safety of everyday use of stairs. What makes our stair light stand out? Durability, elegance and quick assembly in a standard FI60 can. Modern stair lights with motion sensor will automatically turn on the lighting of the stairs on the cage exactly when we need it. For traditionalists, baseboard lighting can also be operated with ordinary switches. Let’s not forget that the Led staircase can also be a decorative element. The stair light mounted every second step when turned on will add elegance to our stairs. How to turn on such stair lights? If we want automation, choose stair lighting with a motion sensor. It is often enough to install a staircase lamp with a motion sensor on the first and last steps of the staircase. The other staircases do not need to have it. The advantage of our 230V staircase is installation without additional power supplies, safety and modern design. Not without significance is the fact that each of our staircase fixtures has been carefully designed and manufactured in Poland, from proven, durable and safe materials.

• That your mounting hole (junction box) has a diameter between 60mm-65mm (2.36 - 2.56 inches),
• That the front of the stair light (80mm x 80mm / 3.15 x 3.15 inches) will cover any imperfections in the plaster around the junction box,
• That the prepared hole or installed junction box has sufficient depth (35mm / 1.38 inches for the fixture + space for wires),
• That the edge of the junction box is flush with the plaster. If not, use junction box extension rings before installation to align the front of the box with the plaster.

Staircase - Questions and Answers

Do I need a power supply for staircases and stair lights with motion sensor?

• No, our stair lighting and motion and dusk sensors are powered directly from 230V voltage.

Will the sensor stair lights light up during the day?

• No, our motion sensor staircase fixtures have an additional dusk sensor that blocks them from working during the day. By extending or inserting the plastic sensor cover, you can adjust the threshold of light at which the halogens are to light up.

How to prepare an installation for recessed (recessed) stair lighting?

• The installation should be cascaded (from lamp to lamp) with a 3-wire cable, e.g. 3x 0.75mm2, unilaterally powered by 230V (L+N). Fi60 cans embed flush with plaster, for the convenience of mounting a can with detectors (where there are usually more connections) can be deepened. We recommend using Wago connectors to make connections.

What is the most common installation of cascade stair lighting?

• Usually, stair luminaires are mounted every second step, about 15-20 cm above the trep. In corridors, luminaires are usually installed every 1m, if the installation is on both sides of the corridor, the frames can be mounted alternately.

What can I buy to make my staircase light up automatically when I get in and out?

• If the installation is 3 wire, the first and last fixture can be mounted with a motion and dusk sensor, the remaining fixtures on the stairs can be without a sensor. When climbing the stairs and when descending, all luminaires will light up automatically.

What about led bulbs for stair lights?

• For each staircase we add one G4 led 230V 2W bulb with wires. Installation and possible replacement of bulbs in our fixtures proceeds without tools, just slide the old bulb out of the sleeve in the fixture and insert a new one. Bulbs are available for permanent sale with us. They can also be purchased from other suppliers.
