A projector is not a television. The same light output from the lens (ANSI), when extended to a larger wall surface, naturally loses its intensity. The further you move the projector, the larger, but darker image you get.

If you are planning a huge screen (above 130-150 inches) and want to watch comfortably during the day, choose a model from the higher ANSI class (TV replacement or Premium). Choosing a weaker model means having to take care of better blinds or watching mainly after dark.
