History:
The MiG-29 jet aircraft was designed in 1972 to replace the MiG-21 and MiG-23 aircraft with more modern ones. The first prototype took to the air in 1977, the first serial MiG-29 aircraft entered service in 1984. In 1990 serial production was discontinued. Since 1989, the MiG-29 has been used by the Polish Air Force Polish. MiG-29UB (9.51) is a training version flown in 1981, two-seater, without radar, the aircraft carried only thermally guided missiles.
