  • Stronger tip flask with a peak power of 72-75W (original Hakko heating element of Japanese production)

Soldering station WEP 992DA+ is suitable for soldering and desoldering electronic components such as: SOIC, CHIP, QFP, PLCC, BGA, SMD, tid (especially mobile phones).

The station is used for soldering and desoldering electronic components, shrinking, welding plastics, heating.

Soldering iron WEP 992DA+ is a hot air soldering station and tip soldering iron. The station is equipped with a PID microprocessor, which checks the operating parameters of the station in 20ms cycles and corrects them to the set values.

Temperature values, air flow power, operating mode are visible on a large easy-to-read LCD display, which greatly facilitates work.

The hotair soldering iron is equipped with a ceramic heating element, quickly and evenly heating up. The heater is constructed of hard alloys, allowing a long working time at high temperatures, without deforming, this significantly increases the stability of work and extends the life of the heater.

In the holder for the hot air flask there is a micro-contact, which when putting the flask away causes it to go into the waiting state, by cooling the heating element, and then turning off the air supply. This extends the life of the heater and saves electricity.

The station is equipped with functions of controlling proper operation, we receive short circuit messages in the circuit, circuit overload, failure to achieve the set temperature. All these errors are displayed on the display.

Choosing the automatic mode of operation, when we put the flask of hot air on the stand, the device will automatically stop heating and cool to a safe temperature. Thanks to this, we will take care of long, trouble-free operation of the heating element, saving electricity and service safety.

The soldering iron is distinguished by such functions :

3 Work programmes. The soldering station has the ability to remember 3 work programs for hot air and flask. Depending on the type of work assembly, disassembly, we set the appropriate program.

Sleep function for tip soldering iron

  1. When the flask is not in use, after a pre-set time from 0-99min it goes into sleep mode.
  2. Starting rest, the temperature is reduced to 200ºC, this prevents excessive oxidation of the tip, and this affects its service life and the heating element.
  3. Mild movement of the flask. The temperature quickly returns to the set value.

Hot air operation in automatic/manual mode.

By selecting the automatic operation mode, when we put the hot air flask on the stand, the device will automatically stop heating and cool to a safe temperature. Thanks to this, we will take care of long, trouble-free operation of the heating element, saving electricity and service safety.

Choosing the manual work mode, when we often have to solder something, then we save time and increase the efficiency of work. It is recommended to switch to automatic mode before completing the work.

What is temperature stabilization?

It is the ability to maintain the set temperature under load, i.e. in soldering traction. Most cheap stations cannot do this because they do not have a feedback loop between the heating element (temperature on the grotto) and the station control. The WEP 992DA+ station automatically selects the appropriate supply current for the heating element, so that the temperature is stable even with high heat consumption
