According to the European standard (PN-EN 13561:2004), awning manufacturers should determine the wind resistance class of the awning.

We distinguish 3 classes of wind resistance:

Class I - wind with a force of 5,5-7,9m / s -light breeze, gently moving branches (4 degree on the Beaufort scale)

Class II – wind with a force of 8-10,7 m/s – wind that rocks smaller trees, shrubs and branches of large trees (5 degree on the Beaufort scale)

Class III – very strong wind (wind) with a scale of 10,8-13,8 m/s. The wind rocks even large branches and trees, pulls umbrellas out of your hands (6 degree on the Beaufort scale)
