Blue filter for Lumina lamp

The filter is designed to be used in cooperation with the Sollux Lumina lamp manufactured by Astar (version lower than 5.0).

Filter used in therapeutic lamps to obtain radiation with specific characteristics. The element affecting the characteristics in the filter is colored glass, having properties appropriate to the working conditions. It is made in such a way as to eliminate internal stresses, which allows for increased resistance to cracking as a result of local heating to high temperatures.

The blue filter is used for:

• Treatment of hyperaesthesia and neuralgia
• Relieving muscle pain
• Causation of sedative effects
• Obtaining an anti-inflammatory effect
• Treatment of certain skin lesions
• Relieving irritation after exfoliation of the epidermis

Filter for Lumina lamp - how to use:

• We place the filter for the lamp in the tube slot. Holding the handle, turn to the left or right edge.
• We set the appropriate distance of the lamp from the patient, if necessary, put on safety glasses and turn on the lamp.
• We're doing the procedure.
• After the treatment, leave the filter for the sollux lamp inside to cool down.
• If there is a need to replace the filter immediately after the procedure, remember to put it on a flat, heat-resistant and insulating surface.

If we put down the filter e.g. on a cool window sill, we could break the glass in the filter. This is because in hot glass there will be stresses in contact with cold ground.
