We recommend this product primarily for determining straight lines and geometric shapes in the garden. Due to the robustness of the material, this is not a product designed to create tight, pliable arches or "waves". By choosing this model, you can be sure that once designated, the straight line will remain intact, without waving under the influence of temperature or ground subsidence.

LIGHT WAVEFORMING

1. Material characteristics

• DC01 grade: This is low carbon, cold rolled steel, which is characterized by very good pressing and plasticity. It is even designed for bending and profiling.

• Thickness 1,5 mm: With this thickness, the sheet metal is already rigid enough to maintain the waveform without additional reinforcements, but still flexible enough that it can be bent manually or with simple tools (e.g. wrap around the trunk of a tree or pipe).

2. Ability to form waves

You can get "light waves" (i.e. gentle arches) without fear of material cracking. With a length of 100 cm and a full part height of 16 cm, the sheet resists, but undergoes forming.

• Bending radius: DC01 steel forgives a lot, but try to avoid very sharp kinks if you want to maintain the aesthetics of the "wave".

• Stability: After bending into an arch, the edging will gain additional structural rigidity (it will cease to be flaccid along a straight line), which is a big advantage when mounted in the ground.

3. Practical installation guidelines

• Spins (8 cm): Remember that when bending the sheet metal into waves, the distances between the spitz in a straight line will decrease. If you plan to drive it into a hard ground, it is best to first give the sheet metal the desired shape, and only then drive it into the ground.
