The Transa Electronics® metal, wire and profile detector is a device that facilitates the search for electric wires, metal profiles or elements in walls.

DEVICE NEEDS TO BE CALIBRATED

NOTE - Before proceeding with for each measurement, it is necessary to CALIBRATE the detector. In the instruction there is a detailed description of how to correctly calibrate the meter before each use. The detector can only correctly detect hidden objects after calibration with each measurement!

Please note that no calibration may lead to incorrect measurements or the appearance of incorrect information on the display. Therefore, we recommend that you carefully follow the instructions and perform calibration before each use of the detector.

▶ Profile and metal detector is a useful tool when finishing your home or renovating.

▶ It enables fast and easy to locate hidden metal profiles or wires in walls, which avoids accidental damage or violation of the installation during work.

▶ Thanks to the profile and metal detector, you can precisely determine, where there are metal structural profiles, wires electric or other elements hidden in the walls.

▶ This gives you the ability to exactly plan and make holes on nails, screws or hooks, without the risk of accidental damage to existing installations.

▶ This is especially important for works such as shelf assembly, TV on the wall, lighting ceiling or installation of new electronics.

HOW TO USE THE DETECTOR?

▶ To use the detector, simply apply the meter to the wall surface and slowly move it along the surface.

▶ When the device detects a metal object or wire , the appropriate icon will appear on the screen and an acoustic signal will be emitted .

▶ This intuitive action allows to quickly locate the elements of interest to us.

▶ AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN - automatic shutdown function after 5 minutes of inactivity allows you to save battery

The detector is designed for a wide range of applications and is used to detect various components:

✅ WIRES - Allows you to easily and quickly locate hidden electric wires in walls, ceilings and floors.

✅ FERROMAGNETIC METALS - detects metals that have magnetic properties, such as iron, steel or iron nickel plating of the alloy. It is ideal for finding metal structures, beams or frames.

✅ NON-FERROUS METALS - also allows the identification of non-ferromagnetic metals, such as aluminium, copper or brass. Thanks to this, you can find hidden pipes, water pipes, as well as valuable items made of such metals.

✅ PROFILES - enables detection of metal profiles hidden under the surface of walls, ceilings or floors.
