Q: What is the difference between the T02 and M02 series printers?

A: Printers vary the width and model of supported tapes and print resolution/quality.

T02 - supports 50/53mm tapes. Resolution (print quality) 203 DPI, Q12 tapes.

M02 - supports 50/53mm tapes. Resolution (print quality) 203 DPI, Q22 tape.

M02S - supports 15/25/50/53mm tapes. 300 DPI resolution, Q22 tape.

M02PRO - supports widths 15/25/50/53mm. 300 DPI resolution, Q22 tape.

Q: Can this printer print in color?

A: The Phomemo printer prints using thermal technology, which means that the print will be black.

Q: Do I need to buy batteries for the printer and how long will they last?

A: The printer does not require buying and replacing batteries. It has a built-in battery with a capacity of 1000 mAh, which lasts for about 3 hours of operation. The battery can be charged via microUSB connector.

Q: Can I print both vertically and horizontally?

A: Yes, with the Phomemo app you can specify both print width and orientation.

Q: I changed the tape in the printer, how do I know that I have the correct paper size selected in the application?

A: When changing the roll, the printer itself recognizes the width of the tape and sends this information to the application. Changing the roll does not require additional changes to the printer settings.

Q: Can you print your graphics and images on the printer, or only those available in the app?

A: Of course, in addition to the built-in gallery, you can also add your own photos and graphics to your projects.

Q: Does the printer support Polish characters and different fonts?

A: Yes, it does. In our application you will find different fonts and freely set their size. You have complete freedom in designing your print.

Q: Are labeled containers or dishes dishwasher safe?

A: Of course, in our range of consumables we have tapes made of solid laminated thermal film. They are ideal for washing in the dishwasher at temperatures up to 70°C. However, labels printed on plain thermal paper are not dishwasher safe.

Q: I replaced the roll and the printer does not print.

A: When putting on a new roll, be sure to pull a few millimeters outside the mounted knife so that the printer can calibrate.
