Resignation from the cellular module simplifies operation and actually extends battery life, which for many users is more important than instant notifications. The strongest side here are 940 nm diodes – invisible illumination is a feature that cheaper constructions with a glow of 850 nm do not have. In practice, I advise you to buy quality lithium batteries and a good quality card, because they determine the stability of work in the cold. You need to be aware that the nominal resolution of 36 MPx is interpolated — the physical matrix is smaller, which is the norm in this price range. If you want a remote view on your phone, it is worth considering a more expensive variant with GSM, but for classic terrain observation HC-900A offers a very good value for money.
