History:
Single-seat, single-engine German fighter produced at Focke Wulf in 1944-45, flown in 1939. The first combat use was recorded over France in the summer of 1941. The Fw190 D-9 version was manufactured on the basis of the A-8 airframe, serial production began in 1944.
