PZL-37A/B Ło is a Polish, twin-engine bomber built in a low-wing system with a fully metal structure, with a retractable landing gear in flight.

The flight of the prototype took place in December 1936, and serial production continued in the years 1937-1939. The PZL-37 was the most modern Polish military aircraft built before World War II and the first serial aircraft in the world with a laminar wing profile.

Thanks to this, it developed a speed exceeding 400 km/h. The aircraft was in the world's leading bombers in the late thirties.

By September 1939, 96 Elk had been built, 9 of which had been broken. 40 fought in the Bomb Brigade, for 37 were in the school squadron and in the School of Aviation Cadets, and 5 in rehearsals and 5 in renovations.

The moose of the Bomber Brigade fought German armoured troops near Radom, Pułtusk and Różan. 23 Elk were evacuated to Romania, 2 landed in the USSR, and 2 were captured by Germany, for 60 it was destroyed.

Romanian air force has requisitioned Elk. Romanian characters and numbers from 201 to 220 were painted on them. They were used by Romania, which fought on the side of Germany against the Soviet Union, among others to bomb Odessa.
