The maximum cable distance between the recorder and the switch, as well as between the switch and the router is up to 100 meters.
3. What can be the maximum cable distance between the switch and the camera?
The maximum cable distance between the switch and the camera is up to 100 meters. Enabling EXTEND allows you to increase the connection range up to 200m and reduce the transmission speed up to 10Mbps
4. How to connect the DVR to the Internet?
The recorder must be connected wired to a router that has access to the Internet.
5. Can I have a preview on my phone?
Yes, you can. The recorder must first be connected to the Internet and configured. Instructions for connecting to the mobile application are available under the offer itself under the name "guide".
6. What is the difference between the image quality in the mobile application and the presentation in the offer description?
The application shows a live image in a "slim" version to run smoothly even with a weaker Internet. Preview on the phone is only a simplified version – a real, full-quality image is saved directly to the disk on the device. If you want to see the recording in the best quality, just rip it from your device and play it on your computer.
7. How to connect the drive to the recorder?
Remove the top cover of the recorder, connect with two wires (SATA + power supply), and then attach with screws to the base of the recorder. The first time you start the drive, you need to format it.
8. How to get an image from the DVR?
The recorder should be connected to a TV or monitor via HDMI. After connecting, the screen should immediately display the DVR menu.
9. Can I connect the DVR to my laptop with an HDMI cable?
No, laptops have an output, not a video input. This prevents you from getting the image this way.
10. How much is the disk from the set enough?
In the "HARD DRIVE" section, it is calculated how many days of recordings the disk will hold. When the drive is full, the recorder will automatically delete the oldest record and continue working.
11. Can the cameras be mounted outside?
Yes, the cameras have a sealed housing with IP66 rating and can be mounted outdoors. When installing, we recommend properly securing the cable and plugs.
12. What happens in the event of a power outage?
The device will shut down. When the voltage appears, it will automatically restart.
13. Will this monitoring work without internet access?
Yes, the entire surveillance kit will work. Internet access is only needed to access the camera image remotely (e.g. on the phone).
14. Do I need to supply power separately to the cameras?
No, these modern IP cameras have a PoE power system - this means that you only need to connect them with a cable to the recorder from where they will get power.
