In order for your Karl Hausmann stainless steel pot to serve you for many years and always look like new, it is important to follow these recommendations:

• Before the first use, the dish should be washed in warm water with detergent.
• The size of the burner or heating surface should correspond to the size of the bottom of the dish, the flame should not heat the walls.
• Do not pour salt into an empty pot or into cold water, this may cause corrosion (water should be salted after boiling).
• Do not heat empty pots.
• Do not pour cold water into hot dishes, this can cause deformation of the pot.
• Before washing, leave the dish to cool, in the case of burnt residues - you can pour warm water and leave them to soften. After washing, wipe and dry thoroughly.
• Do not use rough sponges or with metal fibers or harsh cleaning agents.
• Bright stains on the bottom of the pot can be removed with citric acid or vinegar, for dark stains you can use a stainless steel cleaner.
