Mesh nebulizers have many advantages: they are quiet, efficient, and portable, and work well for children, infants, and even animals. BUT! Before you decide to buy, it's important to remember a few key points:

⚠️LIMITATIONS:⚠️

1. Not all medications are suitable.

   Mesh nebulizers are not compatible with medications of higher density, such as saline with hyaluronic acid, 9% saline with herbal additives, or other substances with similar properties. Thicker preparations are too difficult to turn into a mist.

2. Regular cleaning is essential.

   The device must be cleaned after each use. Pour about 2 ml of boiled, lukewarm water into the medication container, run the nebulizer for 3–4 minutes, and then blow through the membrane.

⚠️WHAT TO DO IF THE DEVICE STOPS WORKING?⚠️

If the nebulizer stops producing mist, ⚠️don't panic⚠️:

1. Pour about 2 ml of boiled, lukewarm water into the container.
2. Turn on the nebulizer and let the device run until the liquid is used up.
3. After finishing, blow strongly through the membrane several times.

WHAT CAN YOU USE?

Mesh nebulizers work well with common medications such as:

• Anti-inflammatory drugs: Nebbud, Pulmicort, Benodil.
• Bronchodilators: Atrovent, Ventolin, Iprixon Neb.
• Mucolytics (to thin secretions): Mucosolvan for inhalation, Pulmozyme.
