Nebu-Mist is a specially designed, manual device for nebulisation of solutions intended for the nasal cavities and sinuses. Can be used on infants from 3. month of age, older children and adults. It enables upper respiratory tract therapy, and depending on the solution used – also prevention and daily hygiene of the nose and sinuses.

The device breaks down the nebulised solution into particles of 10 to 20 m, thanks to which the aerosol reaches the upper and rear parts of the nasal cavities, sinuses and nasopharynx, ensuring high therapeutic effectiveness. Nebu-Mist enables the nebulisation of isotonic and hypertonic solutions, as well as topical administration of preparations such as antibiotics, mucolytics or glucocorticoids.

Principle of operation

Nebu-Mist is a patented spray-sol nebulizer. It does not require external power supply – it works on the principle of liquid dispersion using compressed air produced by the syringe piston. It provides uniform nebulisation at constant pressure, regardless of the type of solution and the pressure on the piston.

Indications

Nebu-Mist should be used wherever it is necessary to precisely, quickly and effectively deliver the solution to the nasal cavities, sinuses and nasopharynx, especially in situations where standard nasal sprays are insufficient.

Method of use

• Screw the tip of the cannula into the syringe.
• Open the ampoule with the nebuliser solution.
• Withdraw the solution into the syringe (directly or with a cannula needle).
• Put on an elephant-shaped cover (optional – to make the procedure more attractive in children).
• Screw the syringe into the nebuliser nozzle.

Make a nebulisation:

• Infants and children < 3 years of age – position lying on the side,
• children > 3 years of age and adults – a position tilted forward, with the head slightly tilted to the side.

After the procedure, blow your nose or clean it with an aspirator.
