SIGMA 16-300 mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS | Contemporary is the world's first mirrorless lens with 18,8x zoom. As the equivalent of 24-450mm* in 35mm format, this portable lens covers everything from wide-angle to landscapes and interiors to super-telephoto lenses for sports, wildlife and aviation.

Fast autofocus and efficient image stabilization

Inspired by the same technology that powers the super-telephoto lenses SIGMA, the 16-300 mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS | Contemporary features 6 EV optical stabilization at the wide end and 4,5 EV at the end of the telephoto lens*. The latest OS2 optical stabilization algorithm provides excellent image stabilization, helping photographers achieve unmoved photos without the need for a tripod, even when shooting in low light and at full zoom.

Dust and splash resistant structure* and hydrophobic coating

Designed to help photographers work in all conditions, the SIGMA 16-300 mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS | Contemporary lens features a dust and splash resistant design so it can be used in harsh environments. Additionally, the front element is coated with a waterproof and oil-resistant coating to protect the lens from contamination.

* The design is designed to be resistant to dust and splashes, but it is not waterproof. Be careful not to allow the lens to come into contact with plenty of water. Water inside the lens can cause serious damage and even prevent it from being repaired.

Suppressed focus breathing for consistent framing

SIGMA 16-300 mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS | Contemporary is designed to effectively suppress focus breathing, making it an ideal choice for filmmakers as well as photographers working with multi-shot techniques such as focus stacking. Throughout the zoom range, changes in viewing angle are limited to an absolute minimum when changing focus.
