It is a compact and lightweight zoom lens designed for portrait photography and everyday shooting with full-frame mirrorless cameras. It includes the most commonly used focal length for portraits in a single lens, from 35mm and 50mm to 85mm and 100mm, with a fixed aperture of F/2.8 for even exposure and clear separation of the subject.

Created as a smaller alternative to the popular Tamron 35-150 mm, this lens is designed for photographers who want a lighter set without sacrificing performance. The lens is only 121,5 mm and weighs 575 g for Nikon Z. color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)">

Image quality is ensured by an advanced optical design with special elements that control aberrations and ensure the sharpness of details. The BBAR-G2 coating helps to reduce flares and ghosting effects, while the 9-leaf circular aperture provides a smooth, natural-looking bokeh effect that works particularly well for portraits.

The lens also works well for close-up shooting. You can focus from as low as 0,22 m at a wide angle for more tapered frames and detailed shots, and from 0,65 m at the telephoto lens. The 67mm filter thread fits most Tamron mirrorless lenses, making it easy to use filters throughout the kit.

To ensure fast and quiet focusing, Tamron uses a VXD linear motor, designed to reliably track moving objects. The lens is ready for outdoor use with a moisture-resistant design and a fluoride coating on the front lens for easy cleaning and added protection. The focus button and custom switch can be assigned via the camera menu or the Tamron Lens Utility app for iOS, Android and PC. The lens supports key camera features such as Eye AF and camera lens corrections.
