Viltrox AF 14mm F4.0 Air L is a compact, ultra-wide-angle autofocus lens designed for full-frame cameras with an L-Mount. With a 14mm focal length and a very wide 112.6° field of view, it is an excellent choice for landscape, architecture, interior, and travel photography, as well as for video recording and vlogging.
The optical construction consists of 12 elements in 9 groups, including 4 ED (extra-low dispersion) lenses, 2 HR (high refractive index) elements, and 2 aspherical lenses. This design helps reduce optical aberrations and ensures good sharpness and image detail across the entire frame.
Autofocus is handled by an STM motor, which provides fast, precise, and quiet operation for both photography and video recording. The lens also supports in-camera optical correction on compatible camera models.
The minimum focusing distance is just 0.13m (approx. 5.1 inches), allowing for striking close-up shots with a highly emphasized perspective. With a maximum magnification of 0.23×, the Viltrox 14mm offers great creative potential for working with foreground subjects.
One of the lens's biggest advantages is its compact size and light weight of approximately 172g. This makes the Viltrox AF 14mm F4.0 Air L a very portable ultra-wide-angle lens that is easy to take on trips or carry daily in a small camera bag.
